Jim Ely is founder and Chief Executive Officer of PriCap Advisors.

From 1995 through 2008 he was a Managing Director in Leveraged Finance at J.P.Morgan, responsible for structuring and arranging syndicated loans and high yield issues for non-investment grade companies in the aerospace, defense, healthcare and transportation sectors. Since 2005, he has arranged over $130 billion in senior secured loans and high yield issues. He was also responsible for overseeing a $40 billion loan/bridge portfolio in the consumer, financial, healthcare and retail sectors. He was with J.P.Morgan and its predecessor institutions, Chase Manhattan, Chemical Bank and Manufacturers Hanover Trust, since 1987.  

Jim earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from New York University in 1982 and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business in 1987. He is a director of Community Health Systems Inc. and Select Medical Holdings Corp.  

Hon Ng is Vice President at PriCap Advisors.

He joined PriCap as an Analyst in 2013, responsible for analyzing current and prospective investment opportunities for the Firm’s clients. Prior experience included internship positions at PriCap and Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. 

Hon graduated magna cum laude in Economics (with honors) and Mathematics from Hamilton College in 2012.
